Dick Campo Big Band Concert and Party to Benefit Center for Hospice Care

Kick Off Your Holidays on Friday, December 5, with The Dick Campo Big Band at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa for a concert and party to benefit Center for Hospice Care.  Dust off your dancing shoes and enjoy fabulous music and delicious food while supporting a great cause.

The evening starts with a cocktail reception from 7-8 p.m. and then heavy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and music from 8-10 p.m.  Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at or by calling Jennifer Wheelehon at 860-848-5699.

For over 50 years, The Dick Campo Big Band has been entertaining fans throughout New England with its rich sound and high energy performances.  The 16 piece band, led by drummer Dick Campo and featuring vocalist Valerie Rogers, will get us in the festive spirit by playing big band hits and holiday classics.

“We are so grateful to The Dick Campo Big Band for making this evening possible through the generous donation of their time and talent. An event like this helps us raise awareness in the community about the resources and choices we provide patients and families while raising funds to support our work,” said Carol L. Mahier, President/CEO of Center for Hospice Care.  All proceeds from this concert and party will benefit Center for Hospice Care, making it possible for them to provide high quality, specialized hospice and bereavement services to more patients and families in Southeast Connecticut.

The concert and party are supported by The Circle at Center for Hospice Care and many community sponsors including Dime Bank, Dominion, and Liberty Bank.  Formed in September 2014, The Circle is a dynamic group of passionate volunteers and community leaders who serve as ambassadors for Center for Hospice Care.  They are dedicated to making sure everyone in Southeastern Connecticut knows about and receives quality end-of-life care and grief counseling.  Join The Circle today by emailing or visiting
