Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving, Inc. donates $1,800 grant to Hospice Southeastern Connecticut for Teenager Support Group

January 2, 2007 , Uncasville, CT – The Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving, Inc. has awarded a $1,800 grant to Hospice Southeastern Connecticut for a support group for teenagers with a seriously ill family member.  

Teenagers experiencing living with a loved one who has a serious illness that can be life limiting need an avenue for support and an opportunity to express their feelings in a supportive environment of their peers. This program will afford this opportunity for teens of Hospice families as well as teens in the entire New London County community. The group is offered free of charge.

The Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving is committed to the welfare and prosperity of the communities in which they live and work. Through their charitable contributions and personal involvement, they strive to help create more productive and enriched communities. The Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving is funded by locally owned and operated Wireless Zone franchises; Local locations include New London, Groton, and Norwich.
