The Sailing Community Supports Hospice Southeastern Connecticut!

Norwich, CT (August 2, 2011) - On July 13 and July 16, 2011, members from the local sailing community came together to sail and celebrate in support of Hospice Southeastern Connecticut.  Hospice Southeastern Connecticut extends special thanks to the Mystic River Mudheads, Niantic Bay Yacht Club, Stonington Dinghy Club and Thames Yacht Club for their support.  The agency also thanks all those who participated in these events, supported the races and volunteered.  Thanks to everyone’s work and generosity, the Hospice Southeastern Connecticut Regatta Series to date has raised over $47,000!  The community is invited to the closing event of this annual Regatta Series - a cocktail party and silent auction hosted by the Niantic Bay Yacht Club on August 27, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Come enjoy a beautiful Black Point sunset along with delicious food, drinks and silent auction items donated by local businesses.  Please visit our website at hospicesect.org or contact the Community Development office at 860-848-5699 for more details and to RSVP.
