Hospice Southeastern Connecticut offers grief-support groups open to anyone in the community grieving the loss of a loved one within the past year.

 

 

Groups will discuss the ongoing tasks of adjusting to a new way of life and will learn effective ways to cope with the stress of loss. These discussions happen in a supportive and non-threatening atmosphere in a variety of locations throughout Southeastern Connecticut. All are free of charge. Please call 860-848-5699.

                   Seniors (60+) Grieving the Loss of a Loved One

Day/Time:                  First Monday of each month (exc. Sept.), 10:30 – 11: 30 a.m.

“Expressive Arts for Grieving Hearts”

A program of expressive arts workshops for all ages

Learning how to put grief into “a language without words”

No artistic talent required, materials will be provided

All Groups are held at 227 Dunham Street, Norwich,

unless otherwise specified

 

For Children and Teens

Every Tuesday, from 5:30 – 6:45 pm

 

For Adults

Every Tuesday evening from 7:15 pm – 8:30 pm

For those grieving the loss of a spouse, parent, child, other family member
