Volunteer

The Hospice Southeastern Connecticut volunteer training program explores:

  • Issues surrounding death and dying
  • Family dynamics, psychosocial issues
  • Communication
  • Physical aspects of illness
  • Spiritual aspects of death & dying
  • Maintaining Professional Boundaries

All prospective Hospice Volunteers are expected to attend an initial Orientation meeting.

Volunteer Training Course

All classes are held at the Hospice Southeastern Connecticut Office at 227 Dunham Street Norwich, CT. Persons interested in volunteering should complete the Volunteer Interest Survey (see below) and return it to the office as soon as possible.
